Boston: J. S. Locke & Company, 1871. Copyright 1832, this copy ca. 1871 based on a name and date on the preliminary blank. Worn copy with no front cover, rear cover present but detached. Series of traditional Mother Goose poems illustrated with woodcuts. Softcover, about 5.5 inches tall, 95 pages. Edges worn with some chipping to the first blank which now serves as a front cover, text block sound, pages slightly age-toned but very clean and unmarked. Neatly written poem dated 1886 on the final blank with a small sketch of a gun, discussing a little man with a little gun who shot a little duck right through the head, head, head.. Soft Cover. Fair. 24mo - 5" - 5¾" Tall.
