Faber and Faber, 1940. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1940. First Published. 368 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Visible cracking to half title page gutter, no exposure to netting. Pages are mildly tanned throughout. Text is clear. Binding is slightly shaky, however pages remain attached. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing & sunning to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering darkened. Small water stain to bottom right corner of front board. Minor splits causing fraying to cloth at spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
