Description: British original woodcut print of the opening of the Sweet-Water canal at Suez in 1863. The canal was dug by thousands of Egyptian fellahin and took 3 years to build.

Condition: Very Good.
Some minor page browning/foxing. Text on the reverse. Cut down from a original page
