London: Hampton & Co, 1899. A SCARCE ORIGINAL EDITION, PUBLISHED 1899. This is the third UK edition revised and considerably enlraged. Bound in the original brown cloth with gilt titles to spine and top board. 149pp. illustrated throughout with steel engravings in text. The front endpapers are curious pages of illustrated ads advertising all sorts of lanterns and other photography equipment, the same to the rear which has several pages of illustrated ads. A little rubbing and bumping of the cloth; some wear to top and bottom of the spine. Some light browning/age-toning to endpapers but, internally, the pages are generally bright and clean. Binding tight. Overall very good+. A rare curiousity. Pictures can be sent on request.. Original Cloth. Very Good +. 8vo.
