The first edition. Uncommon. In the publisher's original cloth. This work features chapters written by a host of authors such as Walter Del Mar, Hebert Jones and James Hunter and was edited by Ethlyn T. Clough. The work provides an account of progress in Asia, including Persia, Iran, Turkey and Burma, alongside historical descriptions of the Ottoman Empire. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with fading to the spine and slight bumping to the extremities. Bookplate belonging to 'F. Diba' to the front pastedown with slight creasing to the front pastedown, a bookseller's label to the rear, rubbing to the front free endpaper and slight age toning to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned and clean pages. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
