About This Item
Hodder & Stoughton, 1901. 215pp, intended for publication before the end of 1899 with the object of "laying bare the wicked and delusive aims of the Afrikaner Bond combination, to which the Anglo-Boer war alone is attributable, and to counteract its disastrous influences as far as then still possible". However the writer was prevented from leaving and only later sailed to London to publish the book. Contents are bright, clean, firmly bound and in fine condition. Boards are soiled and a little stained and bumped but in original buff cloth with titles in red. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.
