About This Item
Doubleday and Company, 1949. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. This is an Original, 1949 printing of this famous book for the bartender and mixologist. The book is Clean, Solid, and in great condition. This is a smaller sized hardcover book with 372 pages including a detailed index listing all of the drinks and tools. The book has plain black cloth covers with gold lettering on the spine. The blank endpapers are green. There is no dust jacket. The title page shows the date of 1949 (1949 printing). The copyright page shows the date of 1948. The book is in Very Good condition - the binding is strong, the covers are clean, and all of the pages are clean and unmarked - this book has rarely (if ever) been used. The covers show some light edgewear - no other signs of age. You will be pleased with the great condition. I have placed a fresh mylar jacket over the book to keep it looking clean for years to come. We always ship in a sturdy box.
