About This Item

Chicago: Playboy Enterprises, Inc, 1979. First Edition. Playboy Magazine Founder Hugh Hefner’s copy with his bookplate affixed to the front pastedown and a letter of provenance from the Hugh M. Hefner Foundation laid in. Hardcover, bound in silver cloth with the Playboy Bunny logo stamped the the front board. Touch of handling to the boards and some minor age-toning to the interior, else fine. This issue includes a lengthy and candid interview with Marlon Brando, fiction by Arthur C. Clarke, John Updike, and Tom Robbins; essays, humor, and commentary by Ray Bradbury, Gore Vidal, Anne Rice, Jules Feiffer, Bill Cosby, and Shel Silverstein, and more of what Playboy is known for.
