New York: Brandt's Apollo, 1949. Vintage tri-fold film program mailer for "Home of the World's Finest Foreign Films" Brandt's Apollo theater on 42nd Street, New York, rubber-stamped with the date "Mar 3 1949," the opening date for the two features advertised, and "Please use an addressed envelope to mail this program" rubber-stamped on the center verso.
The two features advertised in the center spread of the program are Jean Cocteau's 1948 film "The Eagle with Two Heads," starring Edwige Feuillère and Jean Marais, and Pierre Billon's 1946 film "The Eternal Husband," based on the Dostoevsky novel, and starring Raimu and Aimè Clariond.
3.5 x 6 inches. Tri-fold. Very Good plus, with light chipping to the right side of the front panel with bruising to the verso of the same.
