Gray coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The author goes into the history of this quantum shift. Part of the Penguin Special Library Edition series. Minor softening of the top backstrip edge with a little rubbing of the book corners. Browning of the textblock edges and of the pages. Offset tanning to the endpapers. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip corners. Rubbing to all. Creases of the dustwrapper and to the panels themselves. Sunning to the front panel. There is an abrasion to the left-hand corner of the front panel – signs of removal of a price sticker.
