About This Item

No DJ; the cloth-covered boards show very little wear; the binding is tight but the book is shelf-cocked. The upper text block edge and front paste down have some light damp staining; a previous book owner's information is written on the first flyleaf, there is a moderate amount of underlining in pen and pencil throughout with no highlighting or marginalia. Includes Introduction, 2 Titles, and 21 Chapters. This 17th Century Science Fiction novel is a prime example of early voyage literature, The protagonist attempts to fly to the moon and sees things from a different perspective; the journey affects their judgement and challenges old ideals.
