New York: Harper & Brothers, 1943 Blue cloth map endpapers depicting naval locations worldwide. Oblong format. New and Enlarged Edition--recent developments, launchings, war losses included in 12 pages of text and new Foreword inserted at front of text from previous edition. Illustrated with black-and-white photographs and drawings. Light-to-moderate rubbing to cover extremities, with most wear to lower front cover corner. Clean and tight in a moderately-to-heavily edgeworn and very lightly soiled dust jacket. Irregular 2" closed tear accompanied by creasing and smaller tears at lower front panel of jacket. Upper edge of front jacket panel creased and with a 1" closed tear. Small chip and 1" closed tear at upper rear panel.
