A heartfelt paean to the six-month-long life of Pelleas, the author's Bulldog puppy presented on beautifully decorated pages. There is staining along edge of boards and spine is darkened. Previous owner inscribed the front endpaper. the binding is tight, text block iis ntact. Interior pages excellent. - very clean, tight, unmarked. This is the 1904 first edition. .
