About This Item
London: Victor Gollancz, 1959.. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. First edition. 8vo., gilt-stamped dark blue cloth in green/white/black price-clipped dustwrapper, 239pp. Fine in near fine dustwrapper with faint wear to extremities and spine darkening and minor chipping to very head of spine. There is also, what appears to be, the publisher's attempt to blot out the printing of a copyright on the title verso with a neat thick line approximately 2" long near the top of the page. This is a lovely copy of one of the cornerstone books on James Joyce. Note : Please contact Sellers & Newel to specify shipping options and minimize costs.
