Condition notes: moderate wear to boards/binding: white almost entirely lost to spine lettering (leaving debossed lettering); joints worn, top 1.5" head front torn; corners bumped, spine ends rolled, spine slightly cocked, top edge soiled. Endpapers tanned with various fairly minor markings/stains, and with former owners' markings to ffep (one penciled, a second blind stamped); rear hinge separating; front hinge repaired with tape; scattered interior foxing and staining, more pronounced to tail of early pages; all maps/illus, including foldouts, present; binding beginning to weaken at t-o-c. Despite all that, this remains a handsome volume of considerable interest. We personally inspect every book we offer.
