Signed. First Edition, third printing. Fine / near fine. The Big Thicket is in deep East Texas. During the early days of Texas that area was a lawless no man's land, just outside the United States and the Mexican Army didn't go up there. The book is in fine condition. The dust jacket has slight edge and shelf wear, but no tears or corner bumps. The pages are clean and unmarked. The author has signed on the front free end page (no inscription).
