Hardcover, [octavo], red cloth boards, gilt spine titles, pictorial dust jacket, 210 pp. Very good book with light edge wear to cloth boards with small ink mark to cover and toning to end pages, price-clipped dust jacket in very good condition with small segment displaced from crown of spine, lightly worn edges with some small close tears to top rear cover, very lightly soiled rear cover.. Jacket design by Ati Forberg. Frame's first novel, originally published in Christchurch, NZ by Pegasus Press in 1957 before appearing in the states three years later.
