It is a big, heavy book. 7 3/4" x 10" x 1 3/4".
640 pages, including index, maps, chronological guide and over 250 illustrations and photos, 24 of which are color plates.
Navy blue boards with gold lettering on the spine. The dust jacket, which is unclipped, has two little (taped) tears, at the right corners of the front.
Otherwise, it's in mint condition.
