About This Item
Springfield, MO: Collector's Coin Shop , 1934 Collector's Coin Shop, Springfield, MO. 1934 (stamped June 25, 1934 on rear). Softcover/Trade Wraps. Edition not stated, but presumed to be annual issue. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Good; light edge wear; light soiling to wraps; faint crease on front wrap; slight toning to pages. No DJ. Printed card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is securely saddle stapled (staples are rusty); text is secure in binding. 43 pp 16mo. This is good example of how the coin business operated in the 1930s. The book has information on grading and terms. The shop lists only the US and Canadian coins they are interested in for the most part before 1900. A very interesting look back coin prices and business practices in the 1930s. A clean very presentable copy.
