With an engraved frontispiece. - Near fine. - The famous Delphin Vergil. - The "Delphin Classics" series was created by 39 scholars, dedicated to Louis de France, "le Grand Dauphin". The gilt dolphin on the front cover of the present book, edited by the renowned Jesuit scholar and orator Charles de la Rue, alludes to the Dauphin.
