About This Item

No Binding. Good. pp [4] being a leaflet as a single folded sheet, folded size approx 220x278mm. In addition to Russell's article - occupying around a page and a quarter - there's a similarly sized piece by A Barratt Brown titled "Revolution and Non-Resistance, An Appeal for an Unarmed Revolution", a slightly shorter one by Edith M Ellis ("The Conscientious Objectors' Contribution to the Movement for Freedom") and half a page, untitled, by Henry T Hodgkin. Published by the National Labour Press and issued as a supplement to "The Tribunal" of July 19, 1917 following a meeting of several peace organisations "to consider their relation to Internationalist movements for freedom", to publish the individual statements to stimulate thought on the subject. Virtually a century old, certainly, but absolutely germane to our situation today. As the paper is standard newsprint it's now browned and a little frayed or cracked on the edges or the fold but still quite complete. Necessarily scarce. Clearly the postage is going to be less than the default necessarily shown as it can be sent as a large letter in the UK and in comparable form to other destinations.
