Tokyo: Toto Bunka Co, 1952. Book. Illus. by Large Full Page Plates, 8 or More Color in Each Volume. Near Fine. Cloth. First Edition. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. A very fine set on the Japanese arts, in English. Distributed by Tuttle. All the dustjackets are very good, with minor fading or nicks on some. Inside the books, clean and tight with no foxing or stains. Color plates are tipped on. Two volumes on painting, one on sculpture, one on architecture and gardens, one on textiles and lacquer, and the last volume on Ceramics and Metalwork. No defects or significant wear to the bindings, all hinges tight. Extra postage to be negotiated because of the size and weight of this 6 volume set..
