Boni and Liveright, New York, 1920. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. Signed by Author. Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Text body is clean and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. This edition, the first, was limited to 1200 copies, of which, this is no. 76. Author has signed just below the limitation statement. Dark green boards, with same color used for dust jacket and end papers. Spine in vellum, with title & author label. Pages uncut. Bookstore stamp on front free end paper and limitation page, very small gift inscription on fly title, and two small listings (about the size of an address label) from book catalogs describing this book affixed to top of limitation page.
