Soft cover. 64pp, editorial, 17 articles, chronology of Pakistan, many illustrations from photographs, drawings and other artwork (some in color). 4to/33cm. Pictorial card-stock wrappers, light wear, internally fine. The cover illustration is of a late 12th century Iranian bowl painted in polycrome 'minai'. The unusually high level of contributing Western authors including Professors Ettinghausen, Hitti, Lambton, Newman and Wilfred Cantwell Smith probably is partly attributable to the convening of the International Islamic Colloquium at Punjab University, Lahore.
