About This Item
Panama Canal Information Office, 1964. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. A 122 page work with much black & white illustration, many photographs on these pages were taken more than a half a century before publication and are being used in this book for the first time. On the free front end page is a stapled card from Robert J. Fleming, Jr. Governor of the Canal Zone and President of the Panama Canal Company at the time presenting the book to some unknown person or entity. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. There is considerable wear and tear at the head and tail of the spine of the dj and also at outer edges. However, dust jackets for this book are quite scarce and the jacket looks quite nice in its protective cover. The book covers are black cloth with still sharp gilt lettering on the front cover. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
