Boston: Published by Samuel Armstrong, 1816. First Edition. Leather bound. Fair. Octavo. viii, 384 pages. Brown calf leather binding with red leather title label on the spine. Volume consists of 12 issues January through December. Contents cover foreign missions, including American Native Americans; Mission reports, several biographies, new publications, speeches, intelligence, and more. Printed contents end on page 384 with the last printed words in parenthesis at the bottom of the page "To be Continued". All pages after 384 removed. Leather binding is rubbed along the edges and joints. Front board is detached. Light damp stains bottom edges of the front end papers. Front blank end paper torn with loss. Persistent toning and foxing to the contents. A fair copy only.
