Thirlmere. Rowland, Panorama. The Shakespeare Head Press, 1930. 1st Edition. 8vo. Brown cloth, gilt titles to front and spine. With dustwrapper. Pp 119. Neat gift inscription from the author to Sir Israel Gollancz dated Easter 1930. Tipped onto front pastedown is a letter from the author to Gollancz asking of his health and commenting on the enclosed book. Sir Israel Gollancz 1863-1930 a Professor of Ehglish at Kings College London and uncle to publisher Victor Gollancz. The dust wrapper has age toned to spine and edges. The binding and pages are in excellent clean and bright order. A neat book with an interesting provenance.
