Chipped both spine ends; 1.5" of backstrip chipped off at foot of spine soiled, esp along front fore edge; 2 tears along left side of front cover. Contents excellent: FAIR PLUS condition. This is an antique ladies' magazine with a heavy emphasis on fashion. I would say that this magazine was for the upper middle class woman, or women who aspired to that status. Many illustrations of ladies' clothing, some in color, as well as clothing for children. In this issue: Spring and Summer FASHIONS; . Synopsis
Farmer In The Sky is a 1950 science fiction novel by Robert A. Heinlein about a teenaged boy who emigrates with his family to Jupiter's moon Ganymede, which is in the process of being terraformed. It was originally published in serial form in Boys' Life magazine (August, September, October, November 1950), under the title "Satellite Scout" before being republished in hardcover later that year by Charles Scribner's Sons.
