Illustrated end papers x + 350 pp + 2 of publisher's adverts. Colour frontis + 15 other charming full page illustrations in colour and monotone by Alice B Woodward- probably best known for her illustrated edition of Alice in Wonderland. First Edition thus 1922. Very Good (Book- moderate shelf wear- colour loss only + some soiling to cloth, gilt blocked shield with crown over to rear panel. light previous owner name to this book belongs to panel front free end paper with school prize book plate to same on reverse of frontis. Liquid splash to bottom edge of book block not affecting margins. Binding sound with no other notable defects).
