Marbled endpapers. Bound in three-quarter dark red morocco over marbled boards, gilt lettering and moderne morocco inlays on spine. Original wrappers bound in. Binding signed Max Fonseque. Top edge gilt. Slight fading to spine, else Fine. Of an edition limited to 500, this copy is numbered 459. A deluxe issue of Verlaine's collection presented here with Drouart's complementary illustrations, all housed in a sumptuous art-deco binding showing Fonseque's subtle restraint.
