Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, and Brown,, 1816.. 1816 viii, 405 p. First edition. Contemporary half calf, alittle rubbed and front joint just begining to split. Light waterstain to first two and final two leaves, otherwise a good sound copy. Written as a sequel to 'A Visit to Paris in 1814'. Both are seminal texts on the collapse of Napoleon's empire and the events surrounding Waterloo. The author was a Radical journalist and travel writer, killed in a duel in 1821.
