1. Because we have already dealt with the soul as such, and
concerning the forces which each of its parts has, the next
now is to look at animals and everything else
life (and about plants) and determine which is the

but others are common to all who have life, but others are
only animals. 3. The most valuable ones, consisting of four pairs
is vigilance and sleep, youth and old age, breathing and exhalation,
life and death. 4. On this, we need to consider what each is
and why it is happening.
