This volumeE has 8 chapters: Cancer, The Dentist and the Comedian, A Scholar's Deathbed, Consumption, Death at the Toilet, etc. Endpapers have ink marks and brown age spots, binding is intact. 352 pages. Preface, written by Samuel Warren, Inner Temple, London, 31st Oct, 1837, states the first chapter of these "Passages" appeared in Blackwood's Magazine in August, 1930 and the last in August 1837. Pages have foxing .

Reprint of this novel. Originally published in Blackwood Magazine in 1932.The actual first edition would have published in around 1933. A very popular book at the time. Moderate edge wear. The spine is sun faded. A binders error glued the first two end pages together someone later separated them cause damage to the first colored end page. Earlier owners name on the top of the second end page which the ink used has soaked through the first illustration page. In good condition.
