About This Item
1992. KOZENCZAK, Joseph. [With Karen Henrikson]. A PASSING ACQUAINTANCE. NY: Carlton Press, [1992]. 8vo., gray cloth in dust jacket. First Edition. A true story about the John Wayne Gacy serial-killer murders as told by Kozenczak, detective chief of the Des Plaines, Illinois police, and the city's public relations director, Henrikson. Signed presentation from Kozenczak on the front endpaper: "To Betty- Best wishes to you & your family. J. Kozenczak." Also with a signed presentation from Henrikson on the same page: "Betty- My warmest regards to a wonderful friend & neighbor- Karen Henrikson. 4/15/94." Very Good (book nice but with dampstain along fore-edge that does not bleed into the pages except for at the front & rear endpapers); minor edgewear (also two small stains) d/j. A somewhat uncommon title on Gacy, especially when signed by both authors. $125.00.
