Cincinnati: The Tower Press, 1908. xxii, 436p., tissue-guarded frontis, many inserted plates (mugshots all, preponderantly male), dark green cloth boards patterned in blind, a massive tome, spine lettering has entirely flaked away otherwise perfectly sound clean copy. A reasonable survey, not based on religious or psychological criteria alone: amongst which reasons are an alleged precipitous decline in quality of beer available to purveyors.
