Seyfried, Munich; 8vo, 130 x 182mm; pp [vi, being adverts], 390, [xiii, being adverts]; pink cloth titled gilt on the front cover and the spine, the spine now faded to brown and the front and back covers similarly faded at the edges; extensively illustrated with the photographs mentioned. ... ... ... The text of the play takes some 135pp of the whole, the remainder giving detailed information on the history of the play, notes on the actors, on the theatre and the music, on previous plays and also on Munoch including how to get there and what else to see when visiting. Note that the text in this book is a translation of the German and adds information explaining relevant matters, claimed in order to help visitors who don't speak German understand what's going on. This text therefore differs both in extra content and in the actual words employed from the text of item 001066 also offered here for sale.
