Boston: James R. Osgood Company, 1875. First Edition, First Printing, Later Issue Binding. Hardcover. Octavo, [1]-496 pages. In Good condition. Bound in green cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Boards have chipping and fraying to spine edges, light rubbing to corners, and mild edge wear and shelf wear. Textblock has light age toning, library bookplate on front pastedown, splitting to front interior hinge, splitting to several gutters throughout textblock, pages 175 to 194 partially detached, writing on rear endpaper, and remainder of bookplate on rear endpaper. Ex-library. Later issue binding with "Houghton, Mifflin & Co." imprint on spine. Shelved Room A. BAL 10529. 1372663. Special Collections.
