Wear to spine ends with loss at the top (photo) Light wear to dust jacket. Inscribed and signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Formed in 1948, II Gorkha Rifles was the youngest regiment in the Indian Army and the only Regiment from East Nepal. Consisting of six battalions, they fought in the 1965 and 1971 Indo/Pakistan Wars in counter-insurgency operations, and in the 1967 confrontation with China.
