About This Item

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1906. Originally published in September, 1906, this reprint from Grosset & Dunlap is in Very Good condition with a Good dust jacket (click on photo.) It was most likely published around 1932, based on an inscription to the original owner, in which the book was awarded as a school spelling bee prize. The book is bound in a light blue cloth, with darker blue titles on the front panel and spine, as well as a vignette drawing of Patty, uniform with other Patty Books in the series. The book includes light edge wear and light fading where the dust jacket is chipped, as seen in photo. The dust jacket has some chips and tears. Prior to shipping, I will place the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. The binding is tight and secure and the text pages are clean and bright throughout, with no stains or tears. The book includes illustrated endpapers. The book measures 5 3/8 by 7 5/8 inches and includes 296 pages. . Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
