Decorative brown and tan cloth-covered boards, printed spine label, 8 3/8 x 5 7/8 inches, 322 pp., color frontispiece of a gorilla. The VERY attractive bookplate of Edith de Long, dated 1930, front pastedown, with a lion on one side of a watering hole and elephants on the other side (completely in character with this book). Very good plus - near fine (slight spine slant; mild darkening, spine; longitudinal fracture through gilt spine label, but not torn or chipped). (1722RO081). 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket.
