About This Item

John Murray, London, 1973. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). 4to. xvi, 156pp. Red cloth lettered in gold at the spine and with the artist's initials gilt-stamped to the upper board, and the top edge stained red. A one hundred-page account of the life of Paul Nash, followed by almost 200 reproductions including a number in colour, and a detailed 34-page chronology. The cloth lightly faded at the backstrip, and with just a touch of wear to the head of the spine. Free endpapers and pastedowns lightly toned. A very good copy in very slightly toned and rubbed non-price-clipped dust wrapper. An excellently illustrated study of the life and work of Paul Nash..
