New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, (1973). First edition. The prolific actress and singer's third book. Anecdotes and approximately 100 recipes from her own kitchen and those of family and friends, including a smattering of celebrities. Stamped "GIFT FROM/ PEARL BAILEY" on front endpaper and INSCRIBED BY BAILEY on half-title, "To dear Greg/ lots of Love/ Pearl." Foxing to page edges otherwise near fine with black star stamped on rear pastedown (presume along with the "gift from" stamp); in very good to near fine dust jacket with internal foxing visible along upper edge rear panel and one tiny tear. Bailey (1918 - 1990) was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1988. A bright and attractive copy. Relatively scarce signed.
