This book publishes the results of the author's research in a village near Jitra in Kedah, where she sought to determine what, if any, effect the 'Green Revolution' had on what had previously been a subsistence economy. Most of the work is devoted to the social effects on family and class structures and individual relationships. 238 pages with a bibliography, maps and tables. Weight 0.7kg. Post free within Malaysia This is an ex-library book with labels on the spine and half title page. There are stamps on the text block and a neat one on the title page. The cover has a bit of wear to the corners and light sunning on the spine and top of the front cover. The spine is not creased. The binding is tight, the text is clear and there is no tanning throughout.
