Reddish-brown wrapper has light soil, edge toning, and chips, with lower front corner missing. Uncut pages with light corner wear and dampstain on lower edge of a few pages. This narrative is "Reminiscences of Service with the Twelfth Rhode Island Volunteers, and a Memorial of Col. George H. Browne" by Pardon E. Tillinghast. Colonel George H. Browne, the regiment's leader, was also a U. S. Representative from Rhode Island during the Civil War. ; 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall; 53 pp .
