A very handsome copy of the rare 1949 Edition De Luxe, "the text printed on handmade paper and the work specially bound in half-Niger morocco of which 100 copies are reserved for sale in the United States". Tight and Near Fine, with 5 raised bands and bright gilt-titling along the spine and crisp gilt-insignia to the front panel. top-edge gilt. Foreword by Sacheverell Sitwell, 126 black-and-white and occasional color plates thruout. Also includes the publisher's light-blue cloth slipcase, which shows minor wear.
