London: Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd. [circa 1969]. 12mo.Illustrated. Complete set of 23 volumes of the tales of Beatrix Potter. In a cream, wooden bookcase with 'Peter Rabbit's Book Shelf' sticker to top panel. All hardback, with colour pictorial onlays to the front boards, in colour illustrated jackets; colour illustrated endpapers. The title sticker on the shelf has been partly torn off, and there are a few marks to the shelf panels. Many volumes' jackets are chipped at spine ends (some with a little loss), and all are slightly marked, stained and/or yellowed around the edges. Boards are generally clean, some with a little yellowing to edges. All internally clean and bright, and all with Potter's original illustrations in colour throughout. Also comes with a contemporary 'Peter Rabbit' merchandise pamphlet-catalogue, yellowed. A very cute collection. This is a heavy set and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe. . Good. Hardback. 1970.

In original white, wooden bookcase, bright with occasional chipping to the extremities. All hardback, with colour pictorial onlays to the front covers. Slight rubbing to the boards extremities, with some sunning to the spine. Generally internally bright with light occasional spotting to some of the volumes. Some minor shaking to some of the volumes. Title and frontis. loose to Miss Moppet and repaired with tape with fontis. to Pig Robinson partly loose. All volumes illustrated throughout and a charming collection. . Very Good.
