About This Item

Rare copy of this children's histoy of France by the Minister of France during or soone after World War II. Stated first edition. The book is entirely in French. The book has wear at the cover edges and corners, and a yellow, a light blue mark on the first flyleaf page, and toning at the page edges. Otherwise it is in excellent condition: no tears, folds, foxing or marks (other than on the first flyleaf page). Illustrations throughout the book, several full page, full color. We could find very little about the auhor. He wrote several adult books and was Ambassador to Canada early in the War.
