ISBN:0710036132 Hardback in good condition with poor dust jacket. Text has underlining in blue and red ink, some slight tanning of pages due to paper used and age. Binding tight. Cloth cover has rubs at tip ends but otherwise clean; dust jacket is poor with rips, dings, tears and nicks. Merleau-ponty was the foremost academic French philosopher of the post war period. In this book he explores the theories of perception, which he rejects as to rigid and stimulus as it is not wholly the work of a constituting subject. Bibliography, index, 466 pages. 45
