About This Item

Philately expert Dr Varro R Tyler has compiled an excellent and detailed study of some of the major philatelic forgers. He provides an insight into their biographical backgrounds as well as their forging methods and purpose, which are diverse. He also provides photographs of their work. A fascinating book.

Book is in very good condition. Pages are intact, clean, unmarked and uncreased and in overall an excellent state. Cloth covers are clean and tight. The dust jacket is unclipped, complete, and in good condition with some general shelf wear and a couple of 1cm tears (though none is missing). Book is now covered in professional removable clear wrapper. 60 pp with index and illustrations
