New York:The Macmillan Company. 1927. Limited signed edition, No. 248 of 375 copies, signed by the author and illustrator. 46pp. Illustrated by Laurence Irving. Hardcover with slipcase. Black boards lightly soiled with design in gilt on front cover still bright but title on spine strip dulled with wear along spine edges. Internally, pages slightly age-toned but clean in very good condition. No previous owners marks or signatures found. All 12 tipped in plates present and in very good condition. The slipcase is in poor condition, still in one piece but missing half of the spine strip, as well as worn to boards and starting to seperate along most folds.
